Towery festival-WHOO:D

I recently went with my friend to Towersy Folk Festival:) it was so much funn and yes - there were ukuleles:)

Probably lost a follower.... Or ten.

Please excuse me while I sit in a corner and feel ashamed !
Everyone has been emailing me asking where I am- but don't worry- I am here now! :)
I can explain- I went on holiday without wifi or a ukulele- so I couldn't update the blog :( it was so frustrating and I've really missed all my late night strums... I'm really sorry I haven't been updating.
Unfortunately- my brilliant 7-year-old laptop has decided to get a virus ... So I can post from my phone- but without any formatting or anything- meaning it will be hard to post full songs- but I will try my best to do all your requests ASAP!
Missed you all:)

Posh Girls- Scouting for Girls

Hey this is Posh Girls by scouting for girls- recommended by Anon.  Sorry- couldnt do you John Legend song- I played around a bit but it didnt really work with uke- ANYWAY- here it is! Some of the chords a pretty hard to get to - I know- but i couldnt find any better alternatives. You could try the classic C, G, Am, F chord sequence if u r really stuck. Comment any songs you want doing below!! Enjoy:

Chords:

She [E] passed, she's [G#m] class.
[A] Candy for the eye and a [B] twinkle in her smile,
And she [E] looks like [G#m] butter wouldn't
[A] melt. Oh-oh [B] Oh.

He's [E] bewitched, her daddy's [G#m] rich.
You can [A] see she comes from money, but she's [B] still a little honey.
And it [E] looks like [G#m] butter wouldn't [A] melt. Oh-oh [B] No.

He stuttered

[E] Oh-oh-oh-oh- [G#m] ohh I [A] never thought I'd say this, but I [B] think your so -
[E] Aw-aw-aw-aw [G#m]-awfully nice. Is that [A] alright?' she said [B] 'fine'.

He was a [A] little bit scared, a [B] little apprehensive
[A] He was just a boy from a [B] local comprehensive.

But he'd heard that.
[E] Posh girls have good manners, but they go [G#m] like the clappers,
Because they [A] never got to hang around with [B] boys at school.
[E] Posh girls have good manners, but they go [G#m] like the clappers,
Because they [A] never got to hang around with [B] boys at school.

She [E] seems, pristine [G#m], but [A] don't be deceived, ‘cause [B] she's not that naive
Although it [E] looks like [G#m] butter wouldn't [A] melt. [B
]

He had a [E] fright, that [G#m] night.
She'd [A] opened his eyes to a [B] world of surprise,
And the [E] butter, oh the [G#m] butter it had [A] gone, it had [B] gone.

She said [E] 'ohhhhhhhhhhh'. [G#m]
With a [A] twinkle in her eye, she [B] said ‘oh my -
Take me [E]  hooooooooo [G#m] oooome [A] tonight, [B] tonight.

Same pattern: [E] [G#m] [A] [B]

There's nothing like a little bit of class.
Wrapped in a perfect arse.
There's nothing like a little bit of class.
The poor boy never stood a chance.

Is it true what they say about posh girls?
Is it true what they say about posh girls?
Is it true what they say?
Is it true what they say about posh girls?

[E] Posh girls have good manners, but they go [G#m] like the clappers,
Because they [A] never got to hang around with [B] boys at school.
[E] Posh girls have good manners, but they go [G#m] like the clappers,
Because they [A] never got to hang around with [B] boys at school.

Same pattern: [E] [G#m] [A] [B]
There's nothing like a little bit of class.
Wrapped up in a perfect arse.
There's nothing like a little bit of class.
The poor boy never stood a chance.
There's nothing like a little bit of class.
They'll all said it's never gonna last.
There's nothing like a little bit of class.
Wrapped up in a perfect arse.

The world though my sunglasses.

Summer came- and I have spent so long sitting outside in a summer dress and a daisy chain around my neck- dappled light- strumming my ukulele.
